The Endometriosis Club
Artist statement
Having Endometriosis is a hardship many women are faced with, yet where is their comfort?
For the Endometriosis Club I have created a way to uplift women with Endo by various box sets. I have chosen to convey these boxes (playful and period box, each contains items to support women with Endo) through a website.
In this website women can find a way to buy the boxes, our message, a way to create a supporting community with one another through our chat option and see how we advertise it all.

The make up is art campaign.
The makeup is art campaign, was originally created as a way to visually convey the hardship of having endometriosis as a women. The colors were hand picked based on research and what would the general women population easily understand through a poster. The yellow (the official color of endometriosis) represents endometriosis and the pink represents femininity. This was the first step I took in playing around creativity in this project. Sadly I decided to go with another path due to the concern that the poster was not eligible enough, as I planned to place it on bus stops, a way where any women could see.
The princess and fairy godmother campaign.
Every girl grew up watching some type of princess movie, often in movies there is someone who comes along and helps the princess out. For example in Cinderella the fairy godmother helps her go to the ball and meet her prince charming.
We want to be your fairy godmother.
The princess and fairy godmother campaign takes a nostalgic route to conveying the support and help we offer to women who think or have Endometriosis. Sadly endometriosis is not curable, therefore many women will struggle with the pain of having endometriosis their whole life, and thats when The Endometriosis Club comes in. The Endometriosis Club wants to help those women on a daily basis, by offer options; to make the pain more manageable, to relaxing more when on your period, to help the emotional struggles of having endometriosis and much more.
The princess and fairy godmother campaign was created to convey how The Endometriosis Club was there to support women who are struggling with the illness. The concept could be easily understood by other through the help of the title ‘Feel like Cinderella, Let us be your fairy godmother’. Then visually it shows a fairy blowing dust and the period box shows up. There are two versions of this campaign a video seen above and a poster seen to the right. The digital version was created for social media and the website. Whilst the poster was created for printing.
The poster would be shown in bathrooms. The reason for that is, bathrooms are a intimate place, often where when a women is struggle with Endometriosis she thinks about it. The poster on the bathroom is a great way to catch the views attention due to it being the sole focus when they look straight.
